INSTAGRAM’S EDITS APP ENHANCEMENT BOOSTS BRAND CREATIVITY

In launching its CapCut-style Edits app, Instagram incorporated numerous elements adding value to its dedicated creation and editing platform. These include ability to edit AI-generated background and animated still images. Additional benefits: the chance to gain greater control by editing on a playback timeline; the opportunity to record in the app video up to 10 minutes in length; and capacity to capture higher quality content. The features stand to grow more beneficial with AI’s continued advances.

  • Oust indecision. Meta has removed much of the fuss from campaign targeting with updates to its AI-enabled Advantage+ Ad campaigns. A new Advantage+ campaign structure terminates the need to select between a manual or an ASC+ campaign.
  • Avail AI. Advantage+ has been expanded to help brands better leverage the tool’s targeting ability. Thanks to AI being embedded in Advantage+, marketers can rely on this feature to automate their campaigns and pinpoint highest-caliber leads.
  • Know score. Now under testing by Meta, a new “Opportunity Score” feature within Ads Manager will enable advertisers to see at a glance a score reflecting how effectively their campaigns are maxing performance, letting them adjust campaigns in response.
